MORE THAN 1,500 TEENS SPENT THEIR SUMMER WITH BBYO!
A BBYO summer experience is a life-changing opportunity, and this summer more than 1,500 teens from across North America spent their summer with BBYO traveling to Israel and Europe, developing leadership skills, participating in community service experiences, exploring career development and making lifelong friends.

THE TODAY SHOW'S AL ROKER CHATS WITH PROJECT NYC TEENS!
On July 23, teens attending Project NYC got a taste of stardom as co-host and weatherman Al Roker spoke with them briefly outside the studio in Rockefeller Plaza. Project NYC is BBYO's unique 10-day summer experience based at New York City's Baruch College and designed to immerse emerging entrepreneurs in the fields of entertainment, marketing, finance and fashion. Borrowing inspiration from the popularity of competitive-based reality shows, such as "The Apprentice," Project NYC is complete with friendly competitions for the 65 participants to apply their newly learned skills.

BBYO SENDS LARGEST TEEN DELEGATION ON MARCH OF THE LIVING
From April 28 – May 11, 165 BBYO teens attended the March of the Living as part of not only the largest teen delegation of the program, but also the largest delegation in BBYO's history. The March of the Living is an international, educational program that brings Jewish youth from all over the world to Poland on Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, to march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, the largest concentration camp complex built during World War II, and then to Israel to observe Yom Hazikaron, Israel Memorial Day, and Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel Independence Day. BBYO RECOGNIZED FOR ITS SUCCESS WITH REACHING YOUNG MEN 
In the recent JTA story, "Where have all the young men gone?" BBYO is highlighted as an organization succesful at recruiting young men amidst declining involvement numbers in that demographic across the rest of liberal Judaism. Matthew Grossman, BBYO's Executive Director, and Jason Wachs, BBYO's Grand Aleph Godol, are both quoted in the article attributing BBYO's single-gender model as one reason for its success.

MY2CENTSFORCHANGE.ORG WINS TOP HONOR IN 2008 INTERACTIVE MEDIA AWARDS
 My2CentsforChange.org, BBYO’s newest advocacy initiative inspiring civic engagement and political involvement in today’s teenagers, won the "Best in Class" Honor in this year’s Interactive Media Awards' Advocacy category. The honor, which was won last year by Dell, Inc., recognizes that the project surpassed guidelines in several areas including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content--an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.
