Mission Statement Ignorance and apathy are the enemies, threatening the very existence of our nation. To combat those unfortunate phenomenon, Machon L’Torah, The Jewish Learning Network of Michigan has proclaimed an all-out war, mobilizing teachers and volunteers to provide learning experiences, intriguing lectures and stimulating discussions. Machon L’Torah appreciates the value of the individual Jew and tailors its programs to the individual’s educational needs. Throughout the week, Machon L’Torah provides many classes for men and women. The classes are given at various college campuses, synagogues, private homes, at Machon’s Oak Park facility, and at our Jewish Resource Center in Ann Arbor. In addition to the regular scheduled classes, Machon L’Torah provides special Jewish Awareness Programs. We have successfully attracted many Jewish people, arousing their interest in discovering more about their rich heritage. We have found that once awakened, be it the professional, the student, the housewife, or the business person, there is always a natural thirst for Torah wisdom. Machon L’Torah encourages those who seek high levels of knowledge to enlist in study programs here in the United States and in the Land of Israel. |
